INDO-US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, NORTHEAST FLORIDA

2010 President's Letter

Dear Indo-US Members:

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the 2010-2011 President of the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Northeast Florida.  I have lived in Jacksonville since 1997 and work as a Program Manager with Keane and have in-depth and extensive experience in architecting, managing, and delivering network, server, database, storage, and data center projects using the global delivery model.  I have also served as the President of the India Cultural Society of Jacksonville and Secretary of Hindu Society of North East Florida.

This year, we are thrilled to have highly accomplished leaders from the technology, media, banking and finance sectors as part of our team.  Our 2010-2011 Executive Committe and Board also includes a diverse group of professionals including doctors, business owners and professors who are all motivated to help this organization grow and succeed to the fullest.  One of the major goals of our business networking events is to provide an avenue for building relationships and creating wealth. The Indo-US Chamber of the Commerce has already created hundreds of these opportunites for our members and businesses throughout Northeast Florida.   The quality of our monthly networking events has harvested these business partnerships, in addition to lasting friendships.

If you are already a member of Indo-US, I encourage you to renew your membership for the 2010-2011 year.  If you're not a member, please join this great organization and help strengthen the alliance of the Indian American work force and businesses in our community.  In addition to our business memberships, we have added a professional membership to cater to your demographic.  We welcome your ideas and involvement in an effort to advance the needs and goals of our members in the Northeast Florida.

Our Main Objectives for 2010/2011 Include:

  • Create more value and benefits for our professional and corporate members
  • Identify and connect new business generation opportunities for small businesses.
  • Inspire our qualified professional members towards entrepreneurial opportunities.
  • Help our local corporations connect with our qualified technology professionals and small businesses.
  • Provide a “Small Business Development Series" and “Professional Development Series" networking events to help you to succeed.

I would personally like to thank President Sankar Mahalingam and his team for all of their accomplishments in 2009. We look forward to working with our small business, corporate, professional members and sponsors, in an effort to take the INDOUS Chamber to the next level in the upcoming year!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas or questions.  We look forward to working with you this year and the best is yet to come!

Sincerely,

Senthil Kumar,

President, INDO-US Chamber of Commerce of Northeast Florida
